Ecco la scoperta fatta: Superman, interpretato da Henry Cavill) parla pochissimo in un film in cui dovrebbe essere protagonista. A Cavill sono state affidate solo 43 linee di dialogo, 452 parole in tutto, oltre 200 meno di quelle pronunciate da Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2 - il giorno del giudizio.
Il suo dialogo più ricco è concentrato in otto righe nella scena della festa di Lex Luthor. L'utente di Reddit coolerthanabagofice ha fatto i compiti a casa con diligenza catalogando ogni battuta in una lista organizzata, in cui a Superman sono affidate gemme come "Hey, I was going to cook" "I miss you too, Dad" e ovviamente "Find him! Save Martha!"
